Congratulations to Nicole for stepping into the role of Toastmaster for the first time. Nicole lead the meeting with confidence, style and humour.
We are so proud of Nicole as we watch her grow by leaps and bounds with steadfastness. Nicole did an exceptional job in her role. Speakers Irina and Teagan kept members on their toes as they gave 2 wonderful speeches. Irina talked about her culture before coming to Canada and, Teagan as usual took his audience to another level as he explained a well researched experiment on the seven deadly sins in order from strongest to weakest as they affect us. His handout helped to better understand the process.
Both June and Dianne used the sandwich method in evaluating the speeches giving lots of positive feedback and points to grow. General Evaluator Charith was right on target as he gave an overall evaluation of the meeting with the gold star going to Nicole. Thanks to those members who stepped in and volunteered for roles that needed to be filled.
Overall it was a great meeting.
